Who We Are
Northstar Technical Center was founded to provide a rigorous, practical, and employer-connected pathway into the electrical trade. As a nonprofit organization, we are focused on workforce development, apprentice success, and industry partnership.
Our training model is built around the realities of the field. Apprentices develop technical knowledge, jobsite readiness, and professional habits that support long-term advancement. We believe strong training should be structured, accountable, safety-driven, and aligned with employer needs.
Our Mission
Northstar Technical Center advances workforce development by delivering structured electrical apprenticeship training that combines related technical instruction with real-world on-the-job learning. We are committed to developing safety-focused, technically capable, and employment-ready electricians who can contribute meaningfully to the industry and their communities.
